NoEEP Program

UHNBC hosts the Northern Emergency Education Program (NoEEP) each spring (Apr-Jun) and fall (Sept-Dec). This program is a 12 week program focused on providing rural physicians from British Columbia with an intensive Emergency and Acute Care learning experience. This program contains its own academic curriculum with small group simulation and ultrasound sessions; additionally provides clinical learning experiences across the disciplines of Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Anesthesia and Trauma. All clinical rotations are completed at UHNBC. For more information about this program, please see the RCCBC website.

For UHNBC staff physicians and NoEEP participants, the academic schedule can be accessed here. At this time, the educational content for these sessions is restricted to NoEEP participants, R3s and UHNBC Staff Physicians. Academic days are regularly on Tuesdays during the running of the NoEEP cohorts with other topic workshops being scheduled.
